Jbara performs for BMI Musical Theatre Workshop CD
On Nov. 10, 2009, Greg recorded "My Van" (Music by Daniel Israel, Lyrics by Phoebe Kreutz) for the "No More Revivals" CD, featuring songs written by members & alumni of the Tony-honored musical theatre writers' workshop. The Sh-K-Boom / Ghostlight release will also feature such Broadway talents as Hunter Bell, Stephanie Block, Kerry Butler, Nick Blaemire, Kelli O'Hara, & many more.

Broadway Cares hosted their fourth annual Salon on Nov. 2, 2009, at Ron Pobuda's fab penthouse with its splendid view of Central Park. The theme was "I Used to Dance Around the Living Room." Hosted by Chris Noth, guest stars included Bobbie Eakes, Ann Harada, Cady Huffman, Gregory Jbara, Trent Kowalik, Kate Shindle, and Kevin Spirtas.
Greg sang "Will the Sun Ever Shine" from Home on the Range and shared a brief anecdote about how his mom helped him and his siblings to be comfortable at school dances.Trent's official site/blog has his Photos & Report.

ASTEP Cabaret Benefit for Shanti Bhavan
The Metropolitan Room, on the evening of Jan. 6, 2009, was the setting for A.S.T.E.P. in the Right Direction: A Benefit for Shanti Bhavan. The benfit was produced by and featured BE child guardian Elizabeth Daniels. Also featured were performances by guardians Amanda Grundy, Katherine Malak and cast member Stephanie Kurtzuba. Greg was among those in attendance.
ASTEP (Artists Striving To End Poverty)'s Shanti Bhavan Project provides educational opportunities and support to children of extreme poverty in India.

Florida Players Presents Master Class with Greg
Florida Players, University of Florida's student-run theatre company, hosted a free master class taught by Gregory Jbara. The master class gave insight into the experiences of a professional actor.
Jbara also gave valuable acting tips by providing feedback on select student performances.
Jbara's two-hour master class was held Jan. 26, 2009, in the Constans Theatre of the Nadine McGuire Theatre & Dance Pavilion at UFL. This informative, professional workshop was open to students of all majors.
